Timothy Gilbert Wale was born in Tutts Clump Bradfield Nr Reading in 1957, the eldest of four children to Gilbert and Phyllis Wale.
Trained as an Agricultural Engineer at John Wilder Ltd Reading (now Oakes Brothers Ltd) gaining city and guilds at Berkshire College of Agriculture in 1976.
After nearly ten years joined Reading Corporation Transport (now Reading Transport Ltd) working on the buses.
After nearly four years went self employed as a Motor Engineer and started his own business at Bradfield (now called Tim Wale Ltd) which continues today.
Lives in Tutts Clump Bradfield. Married to Catherine and has five Daughters.
Tim has taken four different driving tests, and passed them all first time. An agricultural tractor test in 1973, a car test in 1974, an all types PSV (bus) test in 1983, and a class one HGV (lorry) test in 1985.
The letters after Tim's name stand for, Certificated automotive engineer, Engineering technician, Associate member to the institute of the motor industry.
Tim is an active member in the Methodist Church, a Parish Councillor for Bradfield, and a keen supporter of historic motor vehicles including steam engines.
Tim's motto is, Anything you do to or for another person, you do to or for yourself!!
